Baseball fans know that this was All Star Week at Yankee Stadium and this is the last year the old Yankee Stadium will be standing. The actual All Star game was played on Tuesday night July 15th. The opening ceremony was moving with about 50 Hall of Famers attending.

One Hall of Famer, however, was notably absent. Tom Seaver,  former NY Met legend was not there and for a great reason for us winos! He owns a vineyard in California and was too busy working there to be able to make the trip back East. His wine is sold under the label, GTS, that stands for George Thomas Seaver - his full name.
