It's a sad day in the wine world as legendary winemaker Robert Mondavi passed away this morning at age 94. His influence on winemakers throughout the world and the passion he had for  the vine is clear. It is due to him and his inspiration  that California ranks in the top of the world's wine industry. 

He will be missed.
