I can't believe it's Mother's Day on Sunday. And, my mother will be in town. This means that I have to arrange for something other than sending an ecard and flowers. Well, that's okay. The great thing is that my mom loves wine! (yes.. I know.. a shock that I am her daughter!) The thing is she pretty much only likes white wines from France. She will have others such as New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc or even a new world Chardonnay  but, her true love is Pouilly-Fuisse. I'll be on the lookout for a nice one (or two) for her this weekend.

With this in mind, let me suggest that you contact your local wine shops or even some of the online wine shops and wineries for some terrific gifts for your mothers. For example, J Vineyards in Healdsburg, CA has some special picks such as their Cuvee 20 Sparkling Wine - $32 or they are having a 20% off sale on many of their wines.
